each skein contains a 6 stripe pattern that repeats 12 times for a total of 72 stripes per skein.

at a gauge of 9 stitches per inch, each stripe may last 8-9 rows over 64 stitches in the round in stockinette stitch.

size 8 womens sample socks use 27 stripes each, including the folded hem bind off.

yarn is hand dyed with professional acid dyes and rinsed clear. soak and rinse water is recycled during dye sessions.

skeins are air dried with whatever california weather provides.

natural light is used for all photos which are edited to provide the best representation of the yarn and color.

this yarn is machine washable, but i recommend hand washing in cool water as it is the best way to keep the texture, shape and colors looking lovely.

minimal bleeding may occur in first wash so handle with care.
